A winter holiday on the farm is a special experience.
We may learn from nature. Also nature has to take a period of rest in order to prepare herself for the new season and to get new energy.

When Mother Holle is shaking the quilts with feathers and the winter spreads its white coat over the countryside, also on the farm a silent and calm time begins. Nature is taking a winter sleep in order to get new energy for the following year. Also for a human being it is good to pause, to outpace the duties and cares of everyday life and to find the own rhythm.

The following video shows you a representative selection of several 'Red Rooster' farms in South Tyrol and gives an insight into rural life and the variety which are a feature of the over 1,700 member farms. The cornerstones of the 'Red Rooster' brand are the following: Farm Holidays, Farm Inns and Bars, Quality Products from the Farm, as well as Farm Arts and Crafts.

A sunny winter trip in untouched nature, a snowball fight with children, an evening walk under the sky starlit, long winter evenings with your family- reading a book in the cuddly reading corner or playing funny board games will revive your feelings.
Grant yourself and your family this period of rest, you surely won’t regret it!

Night guards stroll through the streets and tell stories, from the alleys you hear medieval music. A juggler is scurrying through the crowd and on the main square a fire-breather is showing his tricks. The merchant is standing in front of his shop wearing a tunic, while you hear kids laughs. Innumerable trees line the streets and the natural light gives a particular atmosphere to the city.
